Yes. We want the dance floor to be a protected space for freedom and expression.
Please keep your phone in your pocket. No photos or videos on the dance floor.
Outside the dance floor, feel free to capture memories, but please ask for permission from everyone in the shot before taking a photo or video.
We want to create an atmosphere where people of all genders feel equally comfortable and safe.
Being shirtless can feel dominating or uncomfortable for some guests.
To keep the dance floor inclusive and welcoming for everyone, we kindly ask you to keep your shirt on.
We have four free drinking water stations.
You can find their locations on the site map on our social media channels or in the Festival App Appic.
Only a clear "Yes" means yes
"No" always means no.
Silence, uncertainty, or the absence of a "no" is not consent.
Respect the personal boundaries of others whether in conversation, dancing, or physical contact.
No. The open consumption of illegal substances is strictly prohibited throughout the entire festival site. We value a clear head and mutual mindfulness.
We celebrate diversity and respect.

Wear clothing that does not offend or hurt others based on their identity or origin.
Because inclusion starts with access. We provide wheelchair-accessible toilets and paved paths at all main points. If you have specific questions, please feel free to talk to us!
We follow a "Braver Space" approach: we are ready to educate and learn together.
However, in cases of intentional discrimination, violence, or repeated violations of our rules (e.g., harassment), we will exercise our house rights.
This will result in expulsion from the grounds without a refund.
You can still reach us after the festival. Send an email to awareness@waves-openair.de. We take feedback and reports seriously, even after the event, to help us improve for the future.
