Can I resell my festival ticket even though it has been personalised?

If you want to sell your ticket, you must have it re-personalized using our ticket transfer function or resale platform. The ticket transfer option can be found in your confirmation email. You can transfer the ticket to another person by providing their name and email address. A fee of €5 applies for the transfer. Alternatively, you can sell your ticket directly here on the website via our resale feature. Just click on the "ticket resale" tab in the menu. As this is an official resale by us, it is 100% guaranteed that the tickets are valid. Please note that you can only sell your ticket at a price between 90% to 100% of the original price.

Access only admitted from the age of 18+. Bring your ID & ticket (digital or printed) with you.

If the pre-sale tickets are not going to sell out (100% sold out expected), we will sell tickets for 90€ (incl. fees) at the entrance to the festival area.

Yes, the pool is open and you go swimming or just cool off. Please only go swimming if you feel comfortable to do so. Guests who are under the influence of alcohol will not be admitted to the swimming and bathing area. Please understand, that the diving tower pool will be closed for safety reasons.

We offer a wide range of food and drinks on-site at fair prices. Our food trucks will take care of your culinary well-being with a variety of delicious options, including plenty of vegan and vegetarian choices.
Special Dietary Needs & Allergies: Do you have severe food intolerances or medical conditions (e.g., Celiac disease)? We want you to have a worry-free experience!

The ticket purchased entitles the holder to one admission to the event grounds. Re-entry after leaving the event area is not possible.

There is a limited number of full self-service lockers available for sale via our ticketshop to secure your private belongings. The access to lockers can be purchased via our ticket shop in the extras section. Once bought, you will receive your locker access code a few days before the event. All lockers have a power supply (usbA/C). Please also note, that there are different locker sizes to choose from. If you haven’t rented a locker please be responsible and leave your valuables at home.

Waves Open Air is continuously working towards becoming more accessible for everyone. The site is largely wheelchair-friendly, and we are constantly improving our accessibility and inclusion measures.

You can only pay in tokens. There are exchange stations on the festival site where you can buy tokens via cash, debit or credit card free of charge (one-to-one exchange).

It will be allowed to carry and consume cannabis in moderate quantities while attending the festival. Please be respectful and kind, try not do disturb anyone by smoking directly next to them. It is not allowed to smoke weed outside of the festival area. Don’t smoke and drive!
