Mika Heggemann is pioneering Nu Trance — a new wave of club music blending the euphoria of trance with the raw edge of techno and the bounce of hard house.
Based in Berlin, Mika’s sound channels high-octane energy and emotional intensity, taking cues from breakbeat and rap culture the way Nu Metal once redefined rock. It’s bold, bouncy, and unapologetically forward-thinking — the next chapter of rave music.
Mika’s journey began behind the scenes, working as a studio assistant for band recordings, before his passion for electronic music took center stage. Over the past nine years, Mika has refined his craft and emerged as one of Berlin’s most exciting new-generation talents. Beyond his work as a producer and DJ, Mika co-founded Polyamor Berlin — a collective that captures
the rebellious, exhilarating spirit of the next generation of club culture. He is also one of the driving forces behind the Berlin Dance Music Event (BDME), the city’s own electronic music industry conference, proving that Mika is not only shaping sounds but actively leading conversations within the scene.
2025 marks a defining chapter for Mika. Following standout releases on Polyamor Records, Kontor Records, Teletech, and Warner Music — including collaborations like Discotheque with Davyboi and Acid Base Reactions with DJ Cringey and KYANU — Mika has solidified his position as a driving force in the Nu Trance movement. His single Heartbeat Destiny became
a festival anthem, while his debut EP on Teletech pushed his sound into darker, more euphoric
territory.
This year, Mika played a recorded Boiler Room set in Dortmund and delivered one of his biggest festival seasons to date, performing at HIVE Festival, Wet Festival, Sea You, Onder De Radar, and Rave Rebels (F2F Stage). With over 100 shows across Europe, Colombia, Australia, and the United States, and performances at Mondo Disko (Madrid), Fuse (Brussels), Gotec (Karlsruhe), RSO (Berlin), Bootshaus (Cologne), and Input (Barcelona), Mika continues to redefine what high-energy club culture feels like. His first All Night Long shows in Cologne and Munich sold out, cementing his growing cult following.
Looking ahead to 2026, Mika’s focus is set on expanding his vision: more festivals, bigger international tours, and an even deeper dive into his own productions. Expect more All Night Long experiences — raw, emotional, and unforgettable. Because for Mika Heggemann, club music isn’t just about the sound. It’s about creating a moment that feels infinite.
